This is an illustration of the Mesopotamian Underworld Irkalla with the temple Ganzir and the stairways and gates leading down to the cavern-like underworld.
There you can see three individuals. The giant lady with the downcast wings, the twisted crown and gazelle on her side is the Goddess and Ruler of the Underworld, Ereshkigal. (My favourite goddess, fight me). Next to her is her scribe Geshtinanna who helps Ereshkigal in her work. And the one with the blue hair is my OC Lotte. She’s a character from my story Ars Nova.

Greetings, this is a post and announcement for my story Ars Nova which I will start to release weekly from today onwards.
It’s a fantasy story in world heavily inspired by the middle eastern culture like mesopotamia, has LGBTQ+ themes to be covered and follows the storyline of Kiur/Lotte. A world rich with culture, mythology, magic, underground gods and other races like your typical humans, dwarves, and therianthropes (beast humans). There’s too much to say it in a few words so better read the synopsis of the story on the site of your preference below.
